JOSEPH STUCKELMAN, MFA, C-TAGME
Joseph Stuckelman, MFA, has nine years’ experience as the academic program coordinator for the diagnostic radiology residency program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. In 2014, he earned Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) certification and was elected to the executive board of the Association of Program Coordinators in Radiology (APCR). He served as the APCR Program Planning Chair for the 2018 Association of University Radiologists (AUR) Annual Meeting, and served as APCR President from 2018-2019. Stuckelman is also Chair of the Electronic Communications Committee.
Stuckelman is a co-author of the book, The Program Evaluation Committee Handbook: From Annual Program Evaluation to Self-Study. Along with Sylvia Zavatchen and Sally Jones, he authored the article, The Evolving Role of the Program Coordinator: Five Essential Skills for the Coordinator Toolbox, published in Academic Radiology in June 2017. In October 2017, he was awarded the prestigious Cedars-Sinai President’s Award. He has been appointed to the ACGME Coordinator Advisory Group for a three year term, 2019-2022.
He enjoys spending time with his husband, their two Australian shepherds, and maintaining their small urban farm.
